Entrepreneurship Development Programme
The goal of this programme is to promote self-reliance, entrepreneurship and income generation. Activities are being expanded in all nine camps, with the aim of doubling the current reach and impact.
At least 2,168 people had received trainings by June 2014 and of these 2007 people had accessed start-up grants for small businesses in fields such as trades, manufacturing, animal raising, farming and poultry-raising.
The programme includes:
- Business Development trainings
- Grants for small scale business/refugee initiated enterprises
- Technical trainings
- Savings and Loans Programmes
- Coordination with Livelihoods Working Group
