TBC provides food, shelter and other support to displaced people from Burma/Myanmar in Thailand.

Refugee communities take a lead role in the management and day-to-day operations of the camps.
Community Leadership

Rice farming, mushroom-growing, shops, weaving and small manufacturing are among the camp micro-businesses.
Livelihoods Training

TBC monitors the nutritional status of refugees and provides supplementary support to particularly vulnerable groups.
Boosting Nutrition

Refugees grow vegetables, fruit, herbs and rice in home and community gardens to supplement family diets.

The Border Consortium (TBC)
TBC is the main provider of food, shelter and other forms of support to approximately 87,000 refugees from Burma/Myanmar living in nine camps in western Thailand. It also supports recovery and community-driven development in conflict-affected areas in southeast Burma/Myanmar.
